She married Henry Clay Parmer in Webster Parrish, La about 1915. To this union was born a daughter. In 1923, she married J. E."Ed" Wheat in Nevada County, Prescott, Arkansas. Her husband preceded her in death. Surviving her were her daughter, Modie Elvina Parmer and her son, Gordon Patterson.
