Elkton, Jan. 12 - Mrs. Columbia F. Hensley, 89, widow of H. W. [sic] Hensley, died early this morning at the home of her son, Claude Hensley, at Penn Laird. She had been in feeble health for several years.

Mrs. Hensley was a lifelong member of the EUB Church and lived most of her life in the Elkton and Swift Run communities. She numbered her friends by the hundreds.

She is survived by two sons, Claude S. Hensley of Penn Laird and Euell Hensley of Harrisonburg; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Heiston of Manchester, Md., and Mrs. Maude Sipp of Newport News; 22 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Mr. Hensley is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. John Eppard of Elkton; Mrs. W. K. Hensley of Elkton; Mrs. Edgar Dean of Elkton; and Mrs. Frank Wyant of Quinque.

Funeral services will be held from the Elkton EUB church Friday morning at eleven o'clock, the Rev. S. J. Westfall and the Rev. John F. Locke officiating. Burial will be in the maiden cemetery at Swift Run.

The body will be taken from the Brill funeral home to the church one hour before the funeral. Members of the family are asked to meet at the Brill home at 10:30.

Rites Held

ELKTON, Jan. 14—Funeral services for Mrs. Columbia Hensley, widow of N. W. Hensley, were held today from the Elkton EUB Church with the Rev. S. J. Westfall and the Rev. John Locke officiating. Burial was in the Maiden cemetery at Swift Run.

Mrs. Hensley, who lived most of her life in the Elkton and Swift Run communities, died at the home of her son, Claude Hensley, at Penn Laird.

The pallbearers were: John Pool, Wilson Nicholas, Earl, Arnold and Emery Hensley. The flowers were carried by Mrs. Alda Pool, Mrs. Marie Palmer, Mrs. June Liskey,
Mrs. Marine Hensley, Mrs. Pauline Rodeffer, Mrs. Flossie Long, Mrs. Herman Miller, Mrs. Anne Rhodes, Mrs. Arnold Hensley.

The throng attending and beautiful floral offering attested to the esteem in which Mrs. Hensley was held.
