Lancaster - Jan 17 - Stephen Funderburk, an aged and highly esteemed citizen of the Elgin section, died yesterday afternoon and was buried this afternoon at Spring Hill Baptist church. He was 80 odd years old and leaves a widow and several children, among them Mrs. R.J. Harper of Elgin community, Rev. Frontus Funderburk of Mississippi, Luther Funderburk of Camden, George Funderburk of Columbia. He is also survived by two half-brothers, D.A. Funderburk of Dwight and Amos Funderburk of North Carolina.
