Ruff, Sister Sarah Marguerite, daughter of Bro. Jacob and Sister Jane Caricofe, deceased, died of dropsy and heart trouble in the Sangerville congregation, Augusta Co., Va., Dec. 21, 1908, aged 52 years, 5 months and 4 days. She united with the Church of the Brethren at the age of fourteen. Jan. 13, 1897, she was married to Jacob Ruff, who, with a stepmother, one brother and one sister, survives. She was an earnest church worker. Services at the Sangerville church Dec. 22, by Eld. A. S. Thomas. Text, Prov. 4:18.

His second wife Elizabeth J. Stickley b.25 Feb 1846 would have been 10 yrs old when Sarah Margaret was born. (Someone had deleted Evers and made Stickley into both people.)
