Edward Lavelle Frost, 85, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, TX. Edward was born to Walter and Melissa Frost in Downsville, LA and has been a residence of La Marque for over 60 years. He served in United States Army during World War II, was active in the Lions Club and a self employed businessman.
Edward is survived by his wife of 66 years Helen Frost; two daughters Ann Peterson and husband Pete of La Marque, TX, and Sue Robinson of La Marque, TX; two sons Clyde Frost of Santa Fe, TX, and Barry Frost and wife Regina of La Marque, TX; brother Johnny Frost of West Monroe, LA; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, TX. Services will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Garza officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.
Pallbearers will be Adrian Robinson, Aaron Robinson, Tyson Frost, Jeremy Frost, Dustin Frost, and Derrick Frost.
