Mavis Olean Sinyard Nuss, 90, of the North Walter community, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015, at her son's home in Blountville, Tennessee. She was born March 13, 1925, in Cullman to Matthew and Tressie Hinkle Sinyard. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband A.J. Nuss. Survivors include two sons, Ronald Lee Nuss and his wife, Julie Nuss, of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Aaron Joel Nuss and his wife, Kim Nuss, of Blountville; three grandchildren, Patrick Aaron Nuss and his wife, Sara Nuss, Kristin Marie Bridewell and husband, Marc Bridewell, and Amber Alayne Nuss; and two great-grandchildren, Troy Aaron Nuss and Ian Alexander Nuss. Graveside services for Mavis will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at Duck River Cemetery.
