Elder Goodwin was a Minister in the Church of Christ Fifty Six years. To the arduos duties of a minister.

Initially brought to and buried in the family plot where his mother and (some) siblings are buried, SEP 1879 in Johnson Cemetery, Enfield, White County, Illinois, disinterred and permanently laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery 10 MAR 1880.
