Mr. Wellborn served his country in the Army Air Corps and retired Civil Service from Robins Air Force Base. A former city councilman for Centerville, he was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Centerville. His parents, Johnny and Adrain Wellborn, and brothers, Lester and Lanier Wellborn preceded him in death. His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-six years, JoAnn Wellborn; daughters, Catherine Flynn, Brenda Johnston (Albert) and Sherry Wellborn, all of Warner Robins; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four nephews.
