HELEN G. BARTELSMEYER
Marionville- Helen G. Bartelsmeyer, 77, Marionville, formely of Mt. Vernon, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1997, at Ozarks Methodist Manor, Marionville, after a long illness.
Mrs. Bartelsmeyer was born Dec 23, 1919 in Carroll County, Ark. She had lived in Mt. Vernon most of her life. She retired in 1972 from the Missouri Rehabilitation Center, where she was a medical records clerk. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Mt. Vernon, the United Methodist Women's Circle and the Crane Methodist Women's Circle.
She was married Aug. 17, 1940 at Springfield, to Joe S. Bartelsmeyer. He died Jan. 7, 1979.
Survivors inlude a son, Joseph A. Bartelsmeyer, Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Donna Lynn Marks, Edmond, Okla; a brother George Pointer, Tucson, Ariz; four grandchildren; and 2 greatgrandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov 28 1997, at the United Metodist Church, Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. Sandra Nenadal officiating. Burial was in Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery, under directions of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the United Methodist Church building fund or the bell choir fund.
