Sikeston - James Edward Kneezle, 72, of Sikeston died Oct. 20, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 23, 1928, in Bell City, son of Josh and Bertha Mayberry Kneezle. He and Shelby Dockins were married Apr. 16, 1960, in Bell City.
He was a crew leader for the Missouri Highway Department for 41 years.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Kneezle; a stepson, Mike Mitchell; six sisters, Mary Hawkins, Fern Long, Inis Stamper, Nonia Woods, Alma Genie Kneezle and Barbara Lewis; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
