Mrs. Kathryn "Ning" Falsom Gorman, 90, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at the Methodist Hospital in Dallas. She was born June 6, 1915 in Bardwell, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Jane Seaboalt Wolverton. She was reared in Rankin where she graduated high school in 1933. On Oct. 7, 1933 she was married to Elliott Owen Gorman. After their marriage they lived in Rankin. In 1941 they moved to Dallas where she was employed by Singer Sewing Co. for 10 years in sales and bookkeeping and also taught sewing. She later worked for First Texas Savings and Loan as a teller. She retired in 1986 as the supervisor of payoffs. Mr. Gorman preceded her in death on Aug. 6, 1989. She was a member of the Cockrell Hill Church of Christ, the Cedar Creek Lakers, the Good Sam Camping Club and the Northcliff Neighborhood Assoc. in Dallas. For 40 years she loved to bowl and was very active in the Oak Cliff Community and in many civic organizations. Ning, as she was known by her children and grandchildren, was a loving caregiver to many of her friends and relatives. She is survived by a son and his wife, Dr. William D. and Carolyn Gorman of Plano; a daughter and her husband, Janice and Nandell Brunson of Lindale; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Keever Chapel with John L. Sullivan and Joe Baisden officiating. Interment will be in the Elm Branch Cemetery in Bardwell. Serving as pallbearers will be John Gorman of College Station, Michael Gorman of Plano, Steve Brunson of Amarillo, Scott Brunson of Dallas, Hal Gorman of Midlothian, Mark Allen of Dallas, Steve McKeever of Breckenridge, CO and Donnie Schultz of Gun Barrel City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
