WARD -- Mrs. Edwena M. Ward, 746 So. W.W. White Rd. passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1972 at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her husband, John H. Ward, with whom she had celebrated 57 years of marriage on Oct. 27, 1972; daughters, Mrs. Mildred Russell, city and Mrs. Thelma Duke, Grand Prairie, Texas; sons, Melvin and Atlee Ward, city; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be held from the Dellcrest Chapel Friday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Moehring officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
