George C. Ackermann, 84, of 701 E. Harland Ave., died Sunday.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Roy Akers Funeral Chapel with burial in Mission Burial Park.
A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and Plumbers and Pipefitters Union # 142, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thekla Ackermann; four sons, LeRoy, Richard, and Douglas Ackermann, all of San Antonio, and William Ackermann of Seabrook; three daughters, Mrs. C.A. Birdwell, Sr., Mrs. A.B. Eastwood and Mrs. Roy Howell, all of San Antonio; a brother, Robert Ackermann of San Antonio; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
