"Another of the old settlers of this neighborhood passed away Saturday night at the home of her daughter Mrs. Wm. Cawfield in the person of Mrs. Richards. If she had lived until the seventh of December she would have been ninety years old".

Cause of Death: Hypertrophy of Liver per Tuscola Death Registration.
