Graveside Services June 29 for Mr. and Mrs. Everett

Graveside services for both Mr. and Mrs. Guy W. Everett, former residents of Waseca, will be held at Woodville cemetery, Wednesday, June 29, 3 p. m. The Reverend John Stedman, pastor of the Congregational church, will officiate and the arrangements are being made through Pfaff Funeral Home.
The family has requested that no flowers be sent.
Mr. Everett was a partner in Everett, Aughenbaugh & Co., local flour milling firm, until the sale of the business in the ‘20s to Russell Miller Milling Co., Minneapolis. They continued to make Waseca their home for many years before moving to California where Mr. Everett died on February 2, 1957 and Mrs. Esther Lewis Everett died on February 17, 1960.
A hospital trust fund was established in Mrs. Everett’s name about 25 years ago. They also made sizeable contributions to the improvement of Woodville cemetery and to the Waseca County Library.

BOOK - CHILD'S HISTORY OF WASECA COUNTY. MN., 1854-1904. PUBLISHED IN 1905. Guy W. Everett, brother of Edward A. Everett, was born in Waseca September 21, 1874. He attended the public schools of Waseca for some years and then was a student in a school in San Francisco, Cal., during the sojourn of his parents in that city. Upon his returned from California after the death of his father which occurred June 16, 1892, he took up work in the milling business of Everett, Aughenbaugh & Co. He was salesman on the road for some time and then took charge of the sales department of the business. He thoroughly understands his branch of the business, and gives it the most careful attention. He married Miss Esther Lewis, daughter of the late B. S. Lewis of Waseca, June 15, 1893. They are the parents of one child, a daughter named Esther.
