Services for Viola Ethel Tyson were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Lakeview. Graveside services were in Verda Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Morrell officiating.

Mrs. Tyson, 76, of Lake Charles died at 9:25 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 1981 in LSU Medical Center, Shreveport. She was a native of Verda.

Survivors include two sons, Wilber Tyson of Westlake and Leo Tyson of Grant Park, Ill.; one daughter, Joyce L. Fontenot of Bossier City; one brother David C. Lovett of Ridgeland, Miss., 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Wilber Parker, Rodney Tyson, Mike Caston, Ricky Raney, Bubba Miller, and Barry Woodward.
