Died
In Georgetown, D.C., on Tuesday evening, the 27th instant, John M. Hepburn, a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, in the 61st year of his age. The deceased was, at the time of his death and had been for thirty-eight years consecutively, a clerk in the Adjutant General’s office, having been appointed on the 12th of September 1812.

In Georgetown, on Tuesday afternoon, at 4 o’clock, after a short illness, in the 61st year of his age, John M. Hepburn Esq.
His friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral this (Thursday) afternoon, at 5 o’clock, from his late residence, West Street at Georgetown.
Mr. Hepburn has been, for the last thirty-seven years, one of the most faithful public servants, having served all of this time in the office of the Adjutant General of the Army.
