Lynn L. Rhea, 79, of Broomfield died Jan. 2 in Louisville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St., Thornton.

Mr. Rhea was born in Sawyer, Kan., on Feb. 28, 1921.

He married Jo Rhea, 1941.

He was retired. He was a member of Eagles Club No. 459 Bomber Group.

Survivors include his wife; son Jerry of Broomfield; daughter Sheri McCoy of Broomfield; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

Lynn L. Rhea of Broomfield, an aerospace engineer, died Tuesday in Louisville. He was 79.

Services will be 11 a.m. today at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St., Thornton. Entombment will be in Olinger Highland Mausoleum.

He was born Feb. 28, 1921, in Sawyer, Kan. On July 28, 1941, he married Joan M. Strong in Kingman, Kansas.

Rhea served in the 458th Bomber Group during World War II. He was an aerospace engineer with Beech Aircraft. He was a member of Elks and the Eagles. His interests included fishing.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Jerry, Broomfield; a daughter, Sheri McCoy, Broomfield; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
