Last rites for Mrs. W. D. Gardner, 80, who died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. M. Brian of Montgomery, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, at the St. Maurice Baptist Church. Burial was in St. Maurice Cemetery.

Mrs. Gardner was born in Magnolia, Ark., and was reared in Louisiana. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Barnette of Bossier City, Mrs. Brian and Miss Myrt Gardner of Montgomery; five sons, Oscar and Floyd Gardner of Shreveport, Dr. W. A. Gardner of Coatesville, Pa., Overton of Lake Charles, and Frank of Benton.
