UNTIMELY DEATH
FOR YOUNG MOTHER

Funeral Services for Mrs. Henry
Biesterfeld, Jr., Held Tuesday Af-
ternoon at Lutheran Church

  The Henry Biesterfeld, Jr., home
was saddened last week when the
young wife and mother passed away
following an operation for gall
stones and appendicitis at the Naeve
Hospital in Albert Lea. Death came
to Mrs. Biesterfeld at 2:05 o'clock
Saturday morning, May 15. She had
submitted to the operation on Wed-
nesday, May 12, and was apparently
making recovery when complications
occurred and she passed away
peacefully after receiving the con-
solation of her pastor and receiving
the Sacrament.

  Ada Ottilia Wilhelmina Biester-
feld, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Kontzelmann, was born on May 19,
1907, in Walnut Lake Township.
She was baptized in the Lutheran
faith on June 12, 1907, and confirm-
ed a member of the First Evangeli-
cal Lutheran Church on April 13,
1924.

On September 18, 1929, she was
married to Henry Biesterfeld, Jr.,
and their union was blessed with
two daughters, Carolee and Ladonna,
now five and two years old.

Mrs. Biesterfeld was a kind and
loving wife and mother, a congenial
and helpful neighbor and friend.
She endeavored at all times to bring
up her children in a Christian and
upright manner and her neighbors
will miss her for her happy, helpful
disposition.

  Surviving are her sorrowing hus-
band, two step-children, Myrtice and
Lester, two daughters, Carolee and
Ladonna, her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Kontzelmann, two brothers,
Arnold and Marvin Kontzelmann,
two sisters, Mrs. Elva Treptow and
Leona Kontzelmann, and a host of
other relatives and friends.

  Mrs. Biesterfeld had reached the
age of 29 years 11 months and 26
days.

Funeral services were held at 1
o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock
at the First Evangelical Lutheran
Church Tuesday afternoon. Services
were in the English language and
were conducted by the pastor, the
Rev. William Ganschow. Burial was
made in Rosehill Cemetery.

  The many beautiful flowers be-
spoke the esteem in which she was
held by her many friends. They were
beautifully arranged at the church
by Mrs. Alvin Grau, Mrs. Herman
Prange and Mrs. Louis Huper.

  Pall bearers were Alvin Grau,
Louis Huper, Carl Schroeder, Gus
Quade, Herman Prange and Roy
Ehlert.
