Boston, June 14- Hon. James N Buffum died at Lynn Sunday night, aged eighty. He was an early worker in the abolition rands of Garrison and Phillips. When FREDERICK DOUGLASS was dragged out of a car on the Eastern railroad because of his color, Mr. Buffum heroically fought the mob. He and Douglass went to England in 1845 to protest against the Free Church of Scotland keeping the money contributed to it by the slave-holders of America and held anti-slavery meetings in Scotland.
