Ralph E. Box of 619 Stewart, Stinnett, died at his home about 1:45 p.m. Saturday. He was 54 years old.

Box, a retired pipe fitter, was a member of the Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge of Lovington, N.M. and a veteran of World War II.

Funeral services are pending with Minton Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Karins of Stinnett; two brothers, J.L. Box of Hobbs, N.M.; and W.S. Box of Odessa; and three grandsons.

Funeral services for Ralph E. Box, 54, 619 Stewart, Stinnett, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Stinnett with the Rev. Mert Cooper, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW.

Box died at his home at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

Casketbearers are Dean Hedgecoke, Joe Harvey, Pat Harvey, George Huff, Bob Heston, Johnny Cooper.

Honorary casketbearers are Bill Hedgecoke, Buck Christian, Henry Turner, Jay Cotner, John Reed, Curtis Goodwin, Walter Scott, Raymond Sever, Jack Heston.

STINNETT - Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church here for Ralph E. Box, 54, of 619 Stewart.

Officiating will be the Rev. Mert Cooper, pastor. Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Stinnett under the direction of Minton Mortuary of Borger.

Mr. Box died Saturday afternoon at his home.

A retired pipe fitter, he is survived by his wife, a daughter, two brothers and three grandsons.
