George W. Bauman, aged 81 years died @ 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his grand-daughter, Mrs. W.L. Stephens of North Parkersburg, after a brief illness of infirmities due to advanced age. Mr. Bauman was well known, having lived here many years and his death will be learned of with regret.
The deceased is survived by five daughters and six sons, as follows: Mrs. Walter Pickett, South Parkersburg; Mrs. John Buchanan, Lowell, OH; Clara Bauman, Marrietta, OH; Flossie Bauman, Spencer, WV; Lillie Bauman, Williamstown, WV; Rev. Shelby E. Bauman, Mannington, WV; Henry Clinton Bauman, Walker, WV; Asa and James Bauman of Waverly, WV; Benjamin F. Bauman of Rockport and Daniel Bauman of south Parkersburg.
The funeral will be held in the North Parkersburg M. E. Church at 3:00 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. J. W. Crites officiating. Internment at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
