Mrs. John Hoskins --- Sullivan --- Mrs. John (Phoebe) Hoskins, 92, of rural Sullivan, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (June 27, 1978) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday in McMullin Funeral Home, Sullivan, with Rev. Jim Brooks, assisted by Rev. Henry Graham, officiating. Burial will be in Graham Chapel Cemetery, near Allenville.
Mrs. Hoskins was born Feb. 20, 1886, in Moultrie County, a daughter of Willis and Olive Mann. She was married to John Hoskins on Dec. 14, 1904. He died in 1964. Mrs.Hoskins was a member of Allenville Christian Church, Moultrie County Home Extension and East Nelson Household Science Club.
She is survived by two sons, Willis W. of Sullivan and Harold of Carlsbad, N.M.; a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Doris) Heneberry of Bethany; two sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Faye) Williamson of Mattoon and Mrs. E. P. (Gussie) Hall of Sullivan; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death.
