A. C. Kammerer of Fremont Dies
Funeral services for Aaron Carl Kammerer, 74, 410 East 9th St., have been set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Lawson Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Albert C. Becker of the First Congregational Church will officiate. Mr. Kammerer, a retired farmer, died Friday afternoon at a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was born April 13, 1888 in Imogene, Iowa, and had lived in Dodge County for more than 50 years. He previously resided in Oaks and Uehling and also Julesburg, Colorado. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Fremont.
He was married on February 10, 1909, to Lillie May Larson. Mr. Kammerer is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Lois) Whitaker of Los Angeles, California; two sons, Carlyle and Rolyne both of North Bend; six grandchildren; a brother, Bert of Chillocothe, Missouri; one sister, Mrs. Ida Nourse, Alhambra, California.
A memorial fund had been established for the First Congregational Church. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.
