Michael Evey, who died suddenly of apoplexy at his home in Friends Creek township, was aged 60 years and leaves a family. He had been in the timber, where he was taken with a pain in his head. He died soon afterward at his residence. Mr. Evey was the owner of 600 acres of fine land and was interested in a general store at Cisco. He had made partial arrangements to sell out and remove to a western state.
