Mrs. Mary Dunaway Davis, 76 of Haynesville, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2009. She was the widow of Samuel Washington Davis, and a retiree of Levi Strauss. She was a member of Totuskey Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sons, Jerry W. Davis (Shirley) of Warsaw and Johnny M. Davis of Warsaw; two brothers, Norris Lee Dameron (Carolyn) and William (boy) Dameron (Betty Carol);five sisters, Shirley Wilson, Frances Kennison, Ruth Dunaway Mahan, Lena Fones, and Corrine Bowen; two grandchildren, Brian C. Davis (Brandy) and Kelly M. Davis (Calvin); and two great-grandchildren Mackenzie Davis and Addison Winebrenner. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry D. Davis and her sister, Katherine Bell.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Totuskey Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend Danny Maupin officiated
Pallbearers were Norris Dameron, Michael Dunaway, Kenny Dunaway, Keith William, Colbert Bell, Boy Damron, Jeff Bell, Turtle Dunaway, Scooter Dunaway and Fuzzy Dunaway served as an honorary pallbearer.
