RITES FOR BRIS GOOKIN WILL BE HELD SATURDAY
A. B. (Bris) Gookin, 70, a former Chariton businessman, died Tuesday at the McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colo., where he had been a patient for ten days. He had been a resident of Loveland for five years, moving there from Las Vegas, Nev. His wife, Pauline, died in 1971.
He is survived by a son, Albert B. Gookin Jr., Loveland, Colo. and a step-daughter, Patricia Smith of Ames, three grandchildren and a brother, Burton Gookin of Pittsburgh, Penn.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Chariton Cemetery with the Rev. Eugene Koth conducting.
