Edgar White, 59, of Sacramento, Calif., a native of Lamar County, died Saturday at his home. Funeral services are pending with Gene Roden's Sons in Paris. He was born 30 Sep 1916, at Sumner, the son of William Preston White and Ollie Pearl Floyd White. He was in the Navy. Later he was employed by the Southern Pacific Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Legate of Paris; one son Edgar Ray White of Grand Prairie; two sisters, Miss Lillie White of Sumner; Mrs. T.E. Lassiter of Hurst; three brothers, Odis White of Hot Springs, Ark., Floyd White of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Ray White of Cleburne and four grandchildren.
