Death Claims Leander Lewis
Farmer Dies Saturday Afternoon At Home West Of Warren
Leander Lewis, 73, died at his home, four miles west of Warren, at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon of sugar diabetes.
He was born in Jefferson township, Huntington county, December 25, 1855, and spent his life in that vicinity.
His wife survives and two daughters[sic-1 daughter and 1 son], Mrs. James Groff of Mount Etna and Mrs.[sic] Ernest Lewis, of Marion. One sister, Mrs. Lew Arnold, of Warren, also survives.
Funeral services will be held at the Jefferson Center church of which he was a member, Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in the Lancaster cemetery.
