Born April 26, 1924 in Indianapolis he was the son of Robert Henry and Laura (Devillbis) Daubenspeck. He was a retired operator for the railroad after 44 years. He was a member of the Oakland City United Methodist Church.
He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was a member of the VFW #1147 of Princeton and American Legion post #256 of Oakland City.
Survivors include two sons Robert M. Daubenspeck of Vincennes and Alan Daubenspeck of Santa Claus; friend Lena Hill and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rovena Daubenspeck September 28, 1990 and parents.
Funeral services were 1 pm Monday, November 15 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Slaven officiating.
Burial was in Grandview Cemetery.
