Martin Anderberg loses life on Iwo Pfc. Martin Ladd Anderberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderberg, was killed on Iwo jima Feb. 21, six days before hjs 21st birthday. He was with the Fifth division. He had enlisted with the marines Jan. 5,1944. and after eight and one-half months of training had been sent to the Pacific for further training and action. He is survived also by his wife the former Jean Edson, Chappell, and two sisters, Betty June and Mary.
Memorial services were held at the Berea church Sunday afternoon. Friends of the family have contributed to a mission memorial fund to the amount of $131
