Barry Weldon McDonald, 49, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth.
Barry was born on Dec. 28, 1959, and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Everman High School and worked in construction as a sheet rocker for the last 20 years. Barry will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
A very special thanks is extended to the emergency department staff at Huguley Memorial Hospital for the care they provided to Barry.
Barry was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Altha Fay Garrett.
Survivors: Daughter, Brandi McDonald and husband, Mark Coulston, of Fort Worth; partner and best friend, Leacia Kay Medved of Burleson; parents, Weldon and Delores McDonald of Rendon; grandfather, Jeff Garrett of Forest Hill; sisters, Kelli Chambers and husband, Jess, of Mansfield, and Kristi McDonald of Rendon; granddaughters, Payton and Natasha Coulston of Fort Worth; niece, Reagan Broom of Mansfield; nephews, Ryan Broom and Jake Chambers of Mansfield; uncle, J.D. Garrett and wife, Gilda, of Burleson; aunt, Linda Renick and husband, Joe, of Albuquerque, N.M.; and many other relatives and friends.
