Eginardus Theodore Hickey was the eldest son of John Jasper Hickey and the former Ann Satilla Prince. He was known his entire life, as Egie, by family and friends. On December 19th 1872, Egie married Miss Georgia Cordelia Wardlaw, daughter of Micajah Coalter Wardlaw and the former Mary Jane McBride. Egie and Georgia Hickey had six children.
