Alonzo T. Longino, 77 [sic 70], a longtime resident of Winn Parish and more recently of New Verda, succumbed suddenly at 3 p.m. November 8 [sic 7].

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November 9, at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with Rev. John A. Radford of Hargis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Longino is survived by three sons, Percy, Robert, and Tracy, of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Carr of New Verda, Mrs. Lorene Cook of New Orleans, and Mrs. Frances Howell of Provencal.

He also leaves three brothers, F. S. Longino, Winnfield; H. I. Longino of Atlanta; and W. D. Longino of Coushatta.
