Another pioneer Gone
We are pained to announce the death of Andrew Bowers and old and respected citizen of this county, and a former resident of this city. Mr. Bowers was about sixty-seven years old and had been for some time making his home near Sockum. He died the day before yesterday, at four o’clock, and was buried this morning, at nine o’clock, at the Presbyterian meeting house graveyard, about three miles from Sockum. Mr. Bowers leave quite a family and many relatives and friend to mourn his loss.
