GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE WEDNESDAY
Pocahontas - Graveside services for Blanche Bull of Pocahontas will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Rush Lake Cemetery near Curlew. The Rev. Rick Dee will officiate. The Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Bull died Sunday, April 5, 1998, at Pocahontas Manor in Pocahontas. She was 97.
Blanche Bull was born Feb. 22, 1901, near Havelock, the daughter of Thomas and Frances A. (Gifford) Bull. She attended country schools and resided with her parents on the family farm near Mallard until the 1960s when she moved to Emmetsburg. In the early 1980s she moved to Pocahontas.
Surviving is a sister, Gladys Reining of Englewood, Colo.
Ms. Bull was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jessie Root; and brothers, George and Clarence.
