Jane Anderson Ivy passed away on Oct. 1, 2009 in Lubbock, Texas.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at 3 p.m. in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Please join us in celebrating Jane's life by visiting her memorial at www.mem.com.

She was born in Como, Texas on Nov. 5, 1934 to Andy and Ima Anderson. She graduated from Brownfield High School with the class of 1953, and attended North Texas State University prior to marrying William A. (Bill) Ivy on July 30, 1955 in Brownfield. Affiliated with the Methodist Church since childhood, Jane was a devoted wife and mother to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughter, Dianne Ivy of Lubbock; son, David and wife Kris of Streetman, Texas; sister, Betty Lewis of Monahans; twin brother, Jerry Anderson and wife Sue of Lubbock; one granddaughter, Kerrisa Nichols; and two great-grandsons, all of Streetman.

She was predeceased by her parents and a grandson, Korey Burks.
