Mrs. Agnes B. Mott, 90 years of age, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010. Mrs. Mott was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Daniel J. Brown and Jessie
Wolfe Brown. She was the widow of Norman Wendell Mott and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Rowesville.
Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at New Hope Cemetery in Rowesville, with the
Rev. Curtis Felkel officiating.
She is survived by one daughter, Norma Tekell of
Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Wendell Mott of Charleston, and Timothy Mott of Minnesota; four sisters, Myrtle Mae Joyner, Francis Joyner, Virginia Till and Betty Huff. Mrs. Mott is also survived by eight grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ellen Jeffcoat; one brother, D.J. Brown; and one grandson, Brian Mott.
Family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville.
