Lougenia Vennoy Johnson, 89, of Bryson died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, in a Graham care center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, in Morrison Funeral Home with Dyrel Collins, minister of the Bryson Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 9, 1909, in Bryson to the late John Harper and Beth Pauline (Riddle) Bennett. She married Henry T. Johnson on Jan. 6, 1926, in Senate. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1981.
Mrs. Johnson was a longtime resident of Jack County and a member of the Bryson Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Larry Johnson and his wife Margie of Bryson; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
