Mrs. Lurline (Bulloch) Steward, Age 101, A native and resident of Mobile, Alabama died Thursday September 16, 1999 at a local hospital. She was a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she sang in the Choir for over 30 years. Mrs. Steward was past president of the Americian Legion Auxillary and held various offices in the Forum Club, the Woman's Club and the Mobile Garden Clud. She was a seamstress working for many years in her home, Gayfer's and Kaysers. Mrs. Steward volunteered for various organization including the VA Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi, Mobile Infirmany, and the Rotary Rehad Center. She was preceded in death by her children, Helen Wilson Hare Baas, Beverly L. Stewart Jordan, and Jamie Sherar Borden. Survivors include One Son H. Allen Borden of Biloxi, Mississippi, One Sister Oriel Louise (Bullock) Vasser of Mobile, Alabama, 15 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren, and 29 Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday September 19 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. from the funeral Home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
