Aiken, Aug. 6 - C. Foster Boone, 47, of Aiken died yesterday at Aiken County Hospital. He was a former resident of Orangeburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dukes-Harley Funeral Home by his pastor, the Rev. McKay Branham Jr., assisted by the Rev. Dr. Pierce E. Cook. Burial will be in New Hope cemetery. The body be at the funeral home. Mr. Boone was a lieutenant in security at the Savannah River plant, was a member of St. John Methodist Church here and was a Mason. He was s son of the late Marvin and Nettie Izlar Boone. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Laureen Smoak Boone; a daughter, Mrs. George D. Matthews of Sherman, Tex., a son C. Foster Boone Jr. of Aiken, and a brother, Will Izlar Boone of California.
