Arnold Davey
Funeral services were held
Friday, April 2, for Arnold Davey of Columbia City.
A lifelong resident of Columbia County, Mr. Davey was born in Clatskanie on Feb. 1892. He died March 29.
Mr. Davey had been a resident of Columbia City since 1931, and found great pleasure in helping older people in the Columbia City and St. Helens communities.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Stevens of Columbia City and Mrs. Viola White of Portland; one son, Gilbert Davey of Portland; two brothers, Ralph Davey of St. Helens and Albert Davey of Venonia, 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One son, Richard Davey, preceded him in death.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Coleman-Rushing Funeral Home with Rev. R. G. Stambaugh officiating.
Interment followed at Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery.
