Married Dr Alexander McElroy 1806 Sumner Tn. Her original memorial is 42299921 which predates the one listed here as I had yet to find her grave when posted. Plus I was unsure of her age but think she was a bit older than 1791. The person with her memorial here refuses to transfer the memorial to family. One of those FaG idiots who is more interested in numbers than family relations...Those folks should be banned from FaG...I added the extra info to his memorial and he refused to transfer. One rule out weighs the other...sad we have folks like him...Polly married Alexander McElroy on January 6, 1806 in Sumner County, Tennessee.

I would like to sincerely thank K. Langston, a cousin, for providing invaluable information for several of the Elliff memorials that I had established or were transferred to my care.

Dr. Alexander McElroy married Polly (Mary Ann) Elliff in Tn ca 1802 and moved to SE Illinois. He must have passed before 1830 as Mary is listed. Her daughter Sarah married Job Anglin, My line. Mary Ann should be buried near where her son filed a will. He was not married and listed siblings and mother in the will.

Thanks to Robert Anglin, #50851006, for providing the correct DOB, DOD, and Mary Ann's full name and the above statement.
