Long-time Borger resident A.C. (Pete) Propes, 63, died Monday at Methodist Hospital in Dallas following a heart attack.

Propes, widely known here as a barber, had lived in Borger about 25 years before moving to Dallas about three months ago.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. Dan Cameron, officiating.

Final rites are under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Surviving are the widow, Minette of Dallas; one daughter, Barbara of Dallas; and a son, Richard of Borger.

Final rites for A.C. (Pete) Propes were scheduled today at 2:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. Dan B. Cameron, officiating.

Propes, who died Monday at Methodist Hospital in Dallas at the age of 63, lived in Borger nearly a quarter of a century before moving to Dallas three months ago. He was a barber.

Surviving are the widow, a daughter and a son.

Minton Mortuary was in charge of final arrangements, with interment in Highland Park Cemetery.
