Mrs Tura Allen Battershell, who was brought from the north part of the state some time ago to Ikemire Colony for lung trouble, died Saturday afternoon. She was the oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Ferd Allen of Wesley Chapel vicinity. Her funeral was held Monday afternoon at Wesley Chapel at 2:30. Brother Porter of Lawrenceville conducted the services. She leaves her parents, one dear little boy about 12 years of age, and a brother and several sisters. The family have the sympathy of the neighborhood in the loss of their dear one.

Mrs Chester Battershell, 38, nee Tura Allen of Hammond, Indiana, who has spent the past few months at the Palestine TB Colony, succumbed on Saturday last to that fatal malady, quick consumption. She is survived by her husband and a son Allen, 15 years of age, one brother, Oscar of Palestine and 5 sisters. The funeral services were at Wesley Chapel Church on Monday.
