Came to Hollis in 1759 and purchased the property of Thomas Dinsmore on Pepperell Road which remained in the family for 2 centuries. He was a blacksmith. He and his wife Mehitable Bradley had 3 boys and 3 girls all born before coming to Hollis, NH.

He was the son of Jonathan and Hannah (Green) Eastman

Erected to the memory of Amos Eastman & Mehitable, his wife. He departed this life March 6, 1808, in the 89th year of his age. She departed this life Nov. 14, 1813, in the 89th year of her age
