BUTNER—The funeral for Mrs. Connie Alford Tart, 48, of 1205-A C St., who died Tuesday, April 11, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at the Eakes Funeral Home chapel in Creedmoor.... Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
Mrs. Tart was a native of Wake County and a member of Butner Presbyterian Church. She was employed by John Umstead Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Mr. Thomas A. "Tommie" Tart; a daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline T. Beam of Stem; her father, Mr. Jessie W. Alford of Wilmington; two brothers, Mr. Sonnie Alford and Mr. Jackie Alford, both of Knightdale; and a granddaughter.
The family will receive visitors from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.
