Johnny Edmund Black, 59, of 516 Cooley Bridge Road, went to meet his loving wife, Susan, in Heaven, Sunday, April 3, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of Sara Vickery Emory and the late George Edmund Black Jr. He was retired from Snyder's Auto Sales, a Mason and Shriner and member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother of Easley; son, Tommy Black of Spartanburg; sister, Carol Varn of Liberty; brothers, Stanley Black, Harold Black, both of Mauldin; and granddaughter, Kaetlyn Black.
He was predeceased by his wife, Susan Duvall Black and a brother, Richard Black.
No services are planned.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
