James Victor Adams of 565 Holly Street, Junction City, passed away March 7, 1974, at the age of 72. He was born March 12, 1901, at Eugene, Oregon and was united in marriage to Bertha Finley at Eugene July 13, 1927. He had been a lifetime resident of the area. Surviving are his wife Bertha; two sons: Marion of Florence, Jim of Bellfountain; two daughters: Nina Nickeson of Junction City, Wilma Douglas of Albany; three brothers: Ted of Eugene, Jess and Earl of Junction City; two sisters: Gladys Wilder, and Ion Wills, both of Eugene; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12, at 1:30 p.m. in the Junction City Chapel of Murphy Funeral Homes, with Reverend Gilbert Knox officiating. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park, Junction City. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Casket will remain closed after the service.
